 Aussie Online Blinds Terms & Conditions

  1. Upon acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, a binding contract exists between the customer (“You”) and Aussie Online Blinds (“Us”, “Our” and/or “We”).
  2. Any date that we estimate for the fulfilment of an orderis only an estimate based on information reasonably available to Us at the time of your order. Our estimated date for fulfilment of the order is subject to the availability of all materials and labour contemplated by the order. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, You hereby acknowledge and accept that We are not liable to you for any delays in the fulfilment of an order.
  1. You acknowledge that You are the sole party measuring the dimensions required for the product that you order for us. Consequently, We are not liable for any mistakes by You in terms of dimensions, materials and/or style when You submit an order to us.
  2. You confirm that We are not liable nor responsible for significant changes / alterations / defects in any material supplied and/or sold by Us. Consequently, We are not liable for any loss you incur as a consequence of the materials that we supply you with.
  3. We acknowledge that We will make commercially reasonable attempts to ensure that the products We sell match the samples or products we have provided and/or displayed to youon our website. However, any minor change between the sample and the goods delivered does not entitle You to claim a breach of contract between You and Us.
  4. You acknowledge that We are not qualified in any industry other than the provision of our products. Consequently, you must not rely on any opinion of Us (or any person we engage).
  5. You acknowledge that there will likely be imperfections in the products that we supply, but that provided the product is fit for purpose, you agree to accept the product provided in the form and manner that we provide it. 
  6. By finalising an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions. You also confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
  7. You acknowledge that the goods You buy from Us are customised to your requirements so cannot be returned and/or sold to another customer. Consequently, We are not obliged to accept the return of any stock that is not faulty and we reserve the right to reject any returns unless such rejections would be a breach of the Australian Consumer Law.
  8. You have not properly accepted our order until You have paid for the order in full.
  9. We recommend that You review the blinds to confirm that the product meets the specifications contained in the order.
  10. If You require a paint colour that is not a standard colour, You must provide Us with a sample of the required colour prior to ordering. We will use Our best endeavours to produce the required colour. However, We do not accept any liability where the required colour is not an exact match. You acknowledge that You do not have the right to any remedy or recourse in the event that the colour of the product does not exactly match the sample that You provided. Furthermore, a different paint colour does not result in the product not being fit for purpose.
  11. We will only provide the products included in your order. If You require any additional products, a separate order must be placed and the new order must be paid for by You when the order is accepted. You acknowledge that You will be required to pay for Your first Order as scheduled and cannot delay payment even if Your second order has not yet been accepted.
  12. You must ensure that the blinds have sufficient support so that they may be properly secured.
  13. You acknowledge that You are solely responsible for the installation of our product. We are solely required to produce and deliver the product to your nominated postal address in Australia at the time that the order is made. Once the goods are delivered to your nominated address, we have fulfilled our obligations under the order.
  14. In the event that installation of the product is impeded / impacted by any part of the building not being level or any surface not being even, You acknowledge and accept that We do not accept responsibility if the product cannot be installed or can only be installed in such a way that leaves gaps in the blinds.
  15. We will use our best reasonable endeavours to ensure that Our Contract with You is completed within the timeframe that We have estimated in your order. However, We do not accept any responsibility for delays due to circumstances outside Our control.
  16. We confirm that any warranty provided will be voided should the supplied product be altered or repaired by a third party that is not approved by Us.
  17. You acknowledge that You are prohibited from providing any information contained in your order or associated documents to a third party (including any of Our competitor(s)) and that such information is to remain confidential.
  1. We requirement an upfront payment of 100% of your order before processing it.
  1. We will contact you once manufacturing has been finalised.
  2. You acknowledge that We are not responsible for any delays with respect to supply and/or installation and You may not seek any compensation related to any delays.
  3.  We require notice of any cancellation or change to your order in writing within 24 hrs of purchase. Any requests for refunds or changes after the allocated timeframe will not be processed.
  4.  You acknowledge that your order will be produced in accordance with specifications tailored to your personal requirements. Thus, your orders cannot be altered and are non-returnable once the manufacturing process has begun. All orders are specifically for final sale and have been customised according to your specifications. We are not liable for errors that are the result of your instructions or specifications.
  5. We will endeavour to complete any orders provided to Us. However, You acknowledge that in certain circumstances We retain the right to cancel your order if We are unable to complete your order due to circumstances outside of Our reasonable control. Reasons that We may cancel your order are as follows:
  1. We do not have the required stock to complete the Contract for the goods ordered;
  2. The goods that you have ordered are no longer manufactured; and / or
  3. A system failure has resulted in a pricing or typographical error on the order.
  1. In the event that your order has been cancelled by Us, you will be entitled to a full refund for your order.
  2. You acknowledge that any damage that may occur as a result of installation that is required to be affixed to any materials is not Our responsibility and any costs associated with repairing any damage will be your sole responsibility. Your further acknowledge that we are in no way part of the installation process.
  3. You acknowledge that any tradesman required to undertake and complete installation of the product (ie an electrician for motorised blinds) will be organised by You. In additional any costs related to the services provided by the electrician will be borne solely by You.
  4. We confirm that We will always take due care when installing products. However, We do not accept responsibility for any damage or interruption that is caused due to circumstances outside of our control.
  5. Corded Blinds – We confirm that any corded blinds installed by Us will be in accordance with Australian Child Safety Standards.
